Top of the Pops 5 March 1981: Legs & Co. dance behind Shakin’ Stevens, as he sings This Ole House.
It’s 1981, so our favourites are relegated to mixing with the audience here. But we cant get too mad: at least they have a proper choreographed routine, which they perform with gusto. And the cameras do spend a fair amount of time on them. I like the way their denim cut-offs echo Shaky’s signature double denim outfit.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Lucky Old Shakin’ Stevens got more than his fair share of chances to dance with Our Favourites. Here he is again, singing This Ole House while the girls dance in po’ white trash outfits. Thanks to Suefan for another great clip.
