Legs & Co. dance to the Bee Gees’ Spirits (Having Flown).
Back in those days, as an Angry (ish) Young Punk, The Bee Gees were everything I dispised. Thirty-nine years later I’m still no fan, but I can’t work up all that anger any more.
But when it comes to providing material for Legs & Co. to work with, then and now, I’d have to agree that the Bee Gees and their disco cronies beat Johnny Rotten & Company hands down. Give me this routine, or Night Fever over Pretty Vacant or Silly Thing any day of the week, or year or decade.
And Jive Talking is a damn good tune.
