Legs & Co. – The Ghost Of Love

Top of the Pops, 30th Mar 1978:
Legs & Co. dance to The Ghost Of Love by Tavares.

Let’s see: the set decoration is meant to suggest cobwebs, like you get in long-abandoned houses where ghosts tend to hand about. The wispy cloaks are a bit like ghosts, of the white sheet variety. Lulu and Pauline are casting hexes on each other (about 1:00 minute in) like witches, because witches hang around with ghosts. And all the girls are wearing skimpy metallic outfits, because… er… em… because we all “Love” skimpy metallic outfits, and “Love” is in the title of the song. Yes, that must be it.
