If you blink you’ll miss them, but Legs & Co. appear briefly among the audience, in the Top of the Pops mix of film footage, photos and audience dancing shots for Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday. From July 30th 1981.
Yes good old 1981, when the TOTP producers must have thought: “Hey, we’re paying a troupe of professional dancers and a choreographer: let’s just stick them in the middle of our audience were they can’t really be appreciated, then only use them for a fraction of the song: that’s a good idea.”
