Here’s my next anonymously donated Pan’s People rarity, at it’s a little off-the-wall this time: from that BBC-TV John Denver Show that Pan’s People were regulars on, here’s Dee Dee with some athletic chorus boys, dancing to The Saga of the Blue Beaver by Beaver & Krause
Wow! That’s some groovy space age outfit Dee Dee’s wearing. There seems to be some sort of spacey/new-age them to the whole thing, but that was just the way things were back in the 1973.
I’d vaguely heard of (Paul) Beaver & (Bernie) Krause before, but I associated them with electronic music, rather than the guitar-driven funk/rock we have here: but it seems they had rockers Mike Bloomfiled and Ronnie Montrose as guest performers on this number.
